Our Terminal Manager will work as a member of our Operations Team, effectively communicating with all staff in all roles while managing the daily operations of our Mississauga facility. They will oversee dispatching operations based out of the Mississauga Terminal and work to ensure all shipping requirements are adhered to. The Terminal Manager will be strong in client interaction as they work to maintain existing relationships and continue to expand our customer base using their proven sales experience. The constant focus of our Terminal Manager is to deliver the expected sales and service requirements, with a strong focus on exceeding whenever possible. This role will be expected to assist with long term development plans for our growing Mississauga Terminal operations.



Ø  Manage daily operations of the Mississauga Terminal, including full time staff assigned to this location 

Ø  Expand customer base and grow operations through direct sales  

Ø  Manage existing client base and effectively build on relationships with clients 

Ø  Daily, weekly and monthly labour management that meets demands 

Ø  Maintain, revise and communicate all standard operating procedures – develop new operating procedures as required 

Ø  Manage, coach, develop and mentor direct reports to achieve performance objectives 

Ø  Monitor and ensure shift performance metrics are met in a timely and cost effective manner 

Ø  Use various computer applications and databases

Ø  Review driver performance and participate and reviews

Ø  Respond to customer inquiries providing support as required

Ø  Provide rate information and service cost analysis to customers

Ø  Maintain a database of customer relations, including general feedback

Ø  Complete customer service reviews and be supportive of corporate practices when dealing with service issues

Ø  Comply with laws, regulations and standards and complete any required documentation as applicable

Ø  Ability to be flexible and work extended hours as required

Ø  Adhere to all ProNorth Transportation service standards and policies, including Health & Safety

Ø  Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act
